So I’m in town shopping today with the wife as you do, when the wife decided she wanted to go and buy something out of Marks and Spencer,
so I said “you go love, I’ll just wait here and have a vape”,
nothing unusual about that apart from I’d rather stand in the rain vaping than go in to a warm, dry and over crowded shop 
.
So I’m stood there quite happily puffing away on my 510 box mod with CE2 Cartomiser when a chap comes over to me and says “What’s that mate”?
Now! I quite often answer these types of questions when asked, in a friendly mate to mate type of way and really explain all the parts and what it does, but today was different for some reason, whether it was because I was wet or that I was guarding all the shopping bags but I answered the question in the best way I ever have, as follows…
“This is an e-cig mate or an electronic cigarette to give it it’s proper name and it’s an electronic device that makes me look and feel as if I’m smoking a tobacco cigarette, it produces a vapour when I inhale and exhale that gives the look and appearance that I’m smoking a tobacco cigarette and with the flavoured fluid that I put in to it gives me a similar taste to tobacco”.
To this the man said, “wow! that sounds amazing, where can I get one”.
I have never had that experience before when the on looker said “Where could they get one”, most of the time I get “Sounds to complicated to me, think I’ll stick with fags”.
So it got me to thinking that you can over complicate things when you explain a device to a passer by, but for some reason I stuck to the facts and just simply explained what it was and what it did.
So myself and the chap exchanged contact details and I gave him some info and he sounded very genuine as to wanting to try e-cigs.
So I came back from town with a smile on my face and a skip in my step knowing I may well of just hooked another disciple in to the fantastic world of e-cigs.
